Planting Tips

Candy cane seeds need “help” from grown-ups to grow!
Growing time can be overnight, several days, or weeks. It’s totally up to you! Full grown candy canes are not included in the gardening kit, so please plan accordingly.

Candy cane seeds grow best in snow!
But if you don’t have snow, try planting your seeds in a pot of cotton ball “snow” or dry oatmeal soil.

Use your imagination!
From making a wish when you plant your seeds, to different flavored and colored candy canes, there’s no limit to how much creativity and fun you can bring to this activity.

Have a house elf?
Elves are not only excellent toy-makers, but they’re skilled gardeners, too! If you have a house elf, enlist their help!
